This video was actually pretty fun to make! ^^ I must admit, it was a pain getting the DVD (waiting six days as Netflix said "At Home") was a bit of a pain, but once I got into the video it was actually kinda fun! What wasn't fun was when I ran out of scenes and I had to improvise near the end. D= Sara likes her sync. She doesn't like to make people pretend the images match the lyrics. x33 But with a movie with a length a little over and hour and a half, what can you do? Ripping and encoding videos is nice, editing and trying to make everything fit isn't always. All in all it was a fresh experience that I enjoyed. I wanted to make this mainly about Copper and Todd and how their friendship dissolves but a mutual trust is gained at the end. I picked this one because it matched Wolf's Rain pretty well and at the time I began, it was one of my favorite songs. That was about six or seven weeks ago. Although this video was mainly for testing purposes, a lot of effort went into it. I think it is one of my best if not the best. Although lemme tell you, the flashes were death! x.x Adobe Premiere 3.0 doesn't have automated flashes like WMM. You can edit all fadings, which is nice, unless you want a black flash. You have to separate the clips and pray the flash will be alright...There is the Strobe Light technique, but that got kinda messed up...You can see it when I attempted white flashes. They didn't fare so well with the export. Oh, and if you notice the God awful music quality, that's because the song wasn't terrible great to begin with. Then I had one heck of a time exporting the video, loosing both visual and audio quality. I had to export separate pieces of the video, put 'em back together and because of it, the audio got kinda funked up. So if you notice something weird with the song, sorry! It couldn't be helped. Yeah, I know the name is completely lacking any sort of originality, but this was just your basic all around Wolf's Rain AMV, not focused on anyone. Although sometimes I did match up the lyrics with the character whom I felt they most suited. Although it didn't even out. XD I love Linkin Park, but no, this is not my favorite song. It just kinda fit the whole Wolf's Rain mood. It was easy to use as a general song for everyone. That and it just sorta hit me. But this probably isn't the last time I'm going to use Linkin Park, even though I told myself I wouldn't. XD A lot of people use their songs. Most ideas are no longer original but exploited to no end. I was surprised to see no one had used this combination before. Actually exporting the video was the worst part. Apparently I had to many effects in the video. So, being me, instead of downgrading my work and taking out effects, I found another way to do things. I took apart the video anyway, and pieced it back together. I had the video cut up into three different movies, smooshed them together, and put the audio track back on. So it kinda screwed with the timing, and I even had to add a couple of stills for some reason. I'm not sure if it all worked out for the benefit of the video or if it kinda ruined what I had going...All in all, I think this is my best AMV to date. Even with what Windows Movie Maker did to the video. x.x God I can't wait to get a new video editor!
