This is a remake of my third AMV, and probably the first one that was actually somewhat good for the time I made it. It's supposed to be in Winry's -- and occasionally Al's -- point of view, speculating what she might have been thinking when she realized Ed was leaving again. (Yeah, I hate the whiny little crybaby too, but you still have to feel a little sorry for her after the way the writers played her like that. :P) Also, in an odd sort of way I made Wrath a symbol of Winry and Al's feelings of unrequited love for Ed, since he's in the background of a lot of shots of them (like a shadow, really). I dunno...that's what I get out of it, anyway. *shrug*
Oh and also, I used some of the clips twice on purpose. It was deliberate.

The Tenchi Girls Le Disko REMASTERED
This is the remake of my least popular Tenchi Muyo AMV ever, The Tenchi Girls Le Disko. It may have been so unpopular because no one else likes the song besides me (yes, it's a tweeny song...but I still love it), but I think it was mostly because the timing and lipsynch were just so terrible. It was an excellent idea, but for the time I made it, my editing experience and knowledge of iMovie weren't advanced enough to execute it. Now I think I manipulated the program to make this AMV the way I originally intended...let me know what you think.
I also censored this version, so the one curse word (again, an f-bomb) isn't actually spoken. But you can still hear it, so it's not much of a censorship, I guess...ah well.

This Is Your Life (Kadaj's Manifesto)
WARNING: If you are offended by coarse language, you shouldn't watch this. (There's only one curse word, but it's the f-bomb, so I thought a warning label would be a good idea. ^^;)
This is...well I don't know what this is. It's not an AMV, so to speak, and it's not a trailer...so -- yeah. It's just something I felt like doing. This is the final track on the Fight Club OST, in which Tyler Durden (played by Brad Pitt in the film adaptation of the book by the same name) rants out his anarcho-primitivist, anti-consumerist, nihilistic beliefs that are also quotes from the movie. I mixed the track in with Advent Children and cast Kadaj as Tyler.
I think it's pretty awesome, so...enjoy. XD;

Pray For Me
*gasp* samuraizylle made a Kingdom Hearts GMV?! Someone tell Jesus to fire up the Armageddon machine! :P
Okay, first things first: DO NOT complain about how much of the opening and closing cutscenes I used. I don't want to hear it.
Second thing: The intro got messed up a little. Just ignore it. -_-;;
Third thing: This was just a random idea I had and felt compelled to make -- I'm not a fan of Kingdom Hearts. The only reason I even know the story is because I've watched my little brother play through the games. But anyway...
I think I cut a few too many corners making this one, honestly. ^^; I actually intended to use more effects than I normally do, but I changed my mind. But this song struck me as a good song for Sora and Kairi's relationship, so it's mostly about them. There's a little Riku near the end, but not a whole lot. I guess it's supposed to be in Kairi's point of view most of the time.
Lemme just tell everyone now, I will NEVER be doing this again. So when request time rolls around, don't ask me to make any more KHMVs...besides, I already deleted all the clips off my computer, lol.

Motoko's Good Behavior [The 2nd GIG]
lol that intro amuses me. XD;
I felt like doing an action-packed AMV since I haven't done one in a while, and this was on the list to be remade, so here it is. I added some clips from the second season to fill in the places where the first draft seemed to slow down too soon (I was running low on good action clips by the end of the first video), and I think it turned out nicely.

Blue & Hige: If You Want Me To
Okay, I made this one in a matter of hours. O_o; I need to find some other way to spend my time.
This one's been on the list for a while, so I finally got around to making it. I thought the song fitted Blue and Hige's relationship pretty well, and it's a nice song anyway...so here it is.

MANIC
Well, I didn't foresee making any more Outlaw Star AMVs, but I finally figured out a way to use a song I've wanted to use for an AMV ever since I heard it with this anime. I just had to interpret the lyrics a little creatively.
The song I used ('Manic' by Plumb) is about a girl who has manic-depressive disorder, which today is more commonly known as bipolar disorder. But for this AMV I focused on the very unhealthy (and often abusive) relationship between Harry McDougal and Melfina. The verses are in Harry's warped perspective regarding Melfina, and the chorus is in Melfina's point of view about Harry.
I didn't spend a lot of time on this, so if you think I could have done better, you're probably right. :P But anyway -- here it is.

Pieces of Kiba (Complete Version)
A remake of my first Wolf's Rain AMV. I decided to do a version with the whole song, since I always regretted cutting out the instrumental breaks in my first draft. I made some slight tweaks and changed a few of the clips, but more or less I stayed true to the original video. This also sets the record for my longest AMV.
This was meant to be a kind of closing theme for the show, with its focus on Kiba and his connection with Cheza (as well as how he deals with the loss of his friends before he gets to Paradise). If you pay attention to the lyrics this is a Christian song, but I always saw Cheza as a rather Christ-like character, so I thought it was appropriate.
Ever since the first time I heard this song it always reminded me of the Wolf's Rain soundtrack, because in a lot of ways the instrumental breaks actually resemble Yoko Kanno's music for the anime if you listen closely.

I Am The Voice
Eh, not my best work -- but not my worst, either. Just an idea I got a while ago and finally got around to making...my third compilation AMV, centering around the characters Melfina (Outlaw Star), Cheza (Wolf's Rain) and Aeris (Advent Children). ^^

Sleep So Soundly
So...yeah. This was kind of an impulse video (I made it in one day). There wasn't any real rhyme or reason to it; I just did it to get it out of my system. And while I'm not at all a fan of Kingdom Hearts, it was something I felt like I had to use in this...you have to admit, the opening and closing cutscenes for those games are really beautiful (not to mention they matched the song lyrically in several places). So don't expect any more compilations with those games; this was probably a one-time thing.
And again, this song might strike some of you as less than exciting. But that's kind of the point, I think. I used the redone version of the song 'Sleep' that's on the latest Plumb album, Blink. The original version can be found on their 2006 album Chaotic Resolve.
(Oh yeah -- sorry about the aspect ratios. I could have fixed it, but it doesn't really bother me as much as it apparently does other people.)

You
No, it doesn't really have a story. It doesn't even have much of a theme or any flow, either. And I imagine some of you might find the song boring. :P Yet, here it is.
This was the first song I put on the list for Wolf's Rain AMVs, so I decided to go ahead and get it out of the way since it wasn't really all that challenging. This AMV centers around the relationships between Kiba and Cheza, Cher and Hubb, Blue and Hige, and Darcia and Hamona.

Rise or Fall
"I think continually of those who were truly great --
The names of those who in their lives fought for life,
Who wore at their hearts the fire's center."
-Stephen Spender
Note: This AMV is a tribute to our soldiers overseas and the sacrifices they have and will make for their country and the world.
The song 'Rise' (composed by Yoko Kanno and Tim Jensen, performed by Origa), the opening theme for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, always struck me as the perfect song to describe the sacrifices soldiers of any nation have had to make in war (as well as being my favorite song from any GITS soundtrack). Typically I wouldn't use a song from an anime with the same anime in an AMV (because it lacks imagination in song choice), but GITS is the only anime I feel is appropriate to use with this particular song. Besides that, GITS quite often deals with the subject of terrorism and its damaging effects on global society.
While 'Rise' does romanticize war a bit, the lyrics still ring true, especially in respect to America's current relations with the Middle Eastern countries. Regardless of how any one person may feel about the morality and motives of the War on Terror, the fact still remains that citizens of our country risk their lives every day to keep us safe -- and I think this song captures that sentiment well.
This is also probably going to be the first and last time I'll be using both seasons of GITS: SAC and the movie, Solid State Society, all at once in a video. Most of the clips I chose were from the 2nd GIG, although I'd intended to heavily draw from the movie for this. Every clip was chosen for a reason, even if it might seem random in some places. Emotionally speaking I'm not so sure I hit the mark this time, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
I'd also like to dedicate this AMV to all of my subscribers and everyone who's supported my videos over the past year -- you guys make the time I spend on these worthwhile, and I deeply appreciate all the feedback. ^^ Thanks for giving me a great first year as a video editor.
I'm not certain why, but Origa uses both Russian and English in this song, so I've provided a translation for you further down. The original lyrics can be found at www.animelyrics.com.
English Translation:
I'm a soldier, meaning that I'm
Both the defendant and the judge
I'm standing on both sides of the fire
Going around turns, overtaking death and life
I'm running to fight with the shadow of a lie
No matter how many threads deception would weave
Truth will show its face of light
Chorus:
Save your tears
For the day
When the pain is far behind
On your feet
Come with me
We are soldiers, stand or die
Save your fears
Take your place
Save them for the judgement day
Fast and free
Follow me
Time to make the sacrifice
We rise or fall
I'm a soldier, born to stand
In this waking hell I am
Witnessing more than I can compute
Pray myself we don't forget
Lies, betrayed and the oppressed
Please give me the strength to be the truth
People facing the fire together
If we don't, we'll lose all we have found
Repeat Chorus
After a dream to the edge of a chasm
Only that way can the world be saved
Don't you cry
Hide the tears
Because a new day will start
Your fire
Will be heated
By thousands of hearts
But now get up
Hide the pain and fear far
The one who's right will win
Know that everything is in your hands
Repeat Chorus

Gene's Journey
My first video of the new year, my first attempt at using audio from the show in an AMV, and my first Outlaw Star AMV. And yes, another Red song. :P This is the last one, I swear.
I've had most of this done for weeks now, but I was having some trouble finding good audio clips to put in the section I wanted them after I found out the ones I was planning to use had harmonica music in the background. Stupid harmonica. -.-; That and I haven't had much chance to work on anything for various reasons I won't go into...
...Anyway, I think it turned out all right. Personally I always thought Gene was a bit of a schmuck, but this song struck me as a good theme for him. Even if you've never seen Outlaw Star, I think most people will enjoy this. Tell me what you think.
This may be my last AMV for some time...I might be able to get one more done soon, but after that I'm not sure what will happen. It's outside my control, though, so don't think I'm quitting or anything.
Oh yeah -- and be prepared for some partial nudity in this. :P

Carol of the Wolves
My first of two 2007 Christmas AMVs. Everybody seems to do this song at some point, but few people do it with Wolf's Rain and I think that's one anime that really suits it. The song is a symphonic rock mix of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' and the Ukranian Christmas carol, 'Carol of the Bells' -- performed by, of course, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I'm not really especially pleased with this video, but it's not bad...other than a few flaws, I guess it's decent.
I will warn you, though -- it's by far the most violent AMV I've made so far, so be prepared. :P
And oh yeah...merry Christmas! :D

BREATHE INTO ME
Is it original? No, not really. Do I care? No, not really. :P
My first compilation AMV, using Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (in that order). The Cowboy Bebop clips are by far the worst quality of all three, but seeing as I got them off limewire, they're still pretty decent.
I tried to take my time with this as much as possible, because I have a tendency to rush projects in order to get them done as quickly as possible. However the amount of time you spend on a video reflects its overall quality, so I tried to take it slow.
What links these three shows together:
- Keiko Nobumoto, the author of Cowboy Bebop, also wrote Wolf's Rain
- Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, the voice actress who plays Lady Jaguara in the English Version of Wolf's Rain, also plays Motoko Kusanagi in the English Version of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
- Yoko Kanno composed the soundtracks for all three anime

An AMV Hell Project
Tenchi is bringing sexy back? Ayeka is making lots of long-distance phone calls? One of the Wolf's Rain guys is gay?!
It's finally here, the long-awaited and greatly anticipated AMV Hell! Well, at least by one person, lol. XD
I made this with my best friend, ayscandy. We each used different anime and used audio from our own libraries, limewire, and www.homestarrunner.com.
I used:
Tenchi Muyo! OAV
Wolf's Rain
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
ayscandy used:
Inu-Yasha
Cowboy Bebop
As you may or may not notice, I got a little lazy with my lipsynching in some of the clips, but they still look all right -- just not perfect.
I went a little overboard with the Tenchi Muyo clips, so maybe next time I make one of these, I'll just use that one anime. ^^ I probably will make another one at some point, because there were a lot of ideas I didn't put into this one because it was getting so long. Hope you like it!

ZERO TOLERANCE STUDIOS: Better (Collaboration)
The third ZERO TOLERANCE STUDIOS AMV, done by myself and SpicAlmighty. I was having some technical difficulties with the video for the past day or so -- one of the effects I used decided not to work after I compressed the finished movie file -- and I tried about six times to get it to work before I gave up and took the effect out. But then the video's synch got thrown off just enough to notice, so I decided to just go with the original version despite the slight messiness in my first part (you'll notice the flash that seems to last longer than it should). Other than that I think it turned out all right.
Both of the anime we chose to use (GITS: SAC 2nd GIG and Elfen Lied) have stories of two people meeting as children and being inexplicably bound to one another even into adulthood. It really clicked in that sense before I even saw the connection (because I haven't seen Elfen Lied), not to mention how well the song goes with the two relationships we focus on in this AMV.
So...enjoy. ^^

Pieces of Kiba
My first Wolf's Rain AMV. I was planning to do a more upbeat, action-centered video for my first with this particular anime, but I changed my mind about three times and finally decided to do this one first. Besides, I'm better at slower songs (had more practice in that area) and I'd prefer to go the road less traveled.
This was meant to be a kind of closing theme for the show, with its focus on Kiba and his connection with Cheza. If you pay attention to the lyrics this is a Christian song, but I always saw Cheza as a rather Christ-like character, so I thought it was appropriate.
Apparently my computer didn't like the format of my Wolf's Rain DVDs, so the quality isn't so great, but it's not terrible, either. Sadly I had to cut out most of the instrumental parts of the song because I had no idea what to do with them, but the parts I left actually resemble Yoko Kanno's soundtrack for the anime if you listen closely towards the end.

In Memory of Achika
This is something I threw together in a moment of nostalgia, looking back on the anime that got me into anime. Achika was always an interesting character to me, for no particular reason I can think of, and I read a short story on TMFFA once (a site I used to frequent religiously when I was younger) where it was pointed out that Amy Grant's 'I Will Remember You' went well with Nobuyuki and Achika's tragic love. I tend to agree.
**Neither Tenchi Muyo the Movie: Tenchi Muyo in Love nor Amy Grant's song belong to me -- just this video.**
