Laptop speakers or thin-sounding monitor speakers aren't going to do it for this tune. Without speakers which will supply some thundah, you're missing the whole bottom half of this song.

Full-Grown Flower song video
The mp3 audio file is at

song, guitar, bass, drum program, and recording by J David B livevideo.com/ontrashakotra
The video of the growing flower is from livevideo.com/paulnewson
If you can come up with vocals and sing to it, go ahead and make a new video out of it. I called this version Full Grown Flower, but that doesn't have to be your title. You can rename the song to fit your lyrics.
If you want to do guitar (or any instrument) solos to this, that's cool too.
The audio can be used as background music for some other kind of video. It's all ok.

R.A.I.D.
Another song written, recorded and video'd by me.
immortal designation
permanent archive
burned years before
sata raid drives
didn't need a coaster
little shiny mirror plate
if only it was saved
on a redundant array
lost forever
no way to retrieve
corrupted memories
Midi and audio are all multitrack recorded in Reaper. The synth is Linplug Alpha. Drums are DK+ Drums.
It's all recorded and mixed down prior to making the video. I had some video from while recording that I could have used, but it was all very boring video.

Green Onions Multitracking
I played the parts (as close as I could figure them out) the way they were played on the most famous version recorded by Booker T and the MG's.
Green Onions multitracked and video'd by J David B
The video of the keyboard and guitar was done while recording the actual tracks that are in this mix. I wanted bass video too, so I made the bass video after mixdown.
This is recorded and mixed down in licensed Reaper http://www.cockos.com/reaper. The organ is Native Instruments B4 software. The keyboard is a CME UF5 midi controller. The drums are sequencer patterns in DK+ Drums. The shirt is from the Black Crowes Souled Out tour in 1999.

Red Planet
Another slap bass song with vocals, guitar, acoustic and a drum program. Music, lyrics and recording by me.
Red Planet, also known as Mars. Captain K.Rotch felt like rockin' on Mars as he left Uranus behind. No one wants to stay on Uranus forever. No one wants to die on Uranus. There isn't much else to do on Mars.
It's not a live video. It's multitracked and mixed down first then the video parts were made.
slap bass, Ibanez guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals

Utopia Vacuum
We can use it to clean the nation
We can use it for a Mars invasion
We can spin around
We go up and come back down
Inside the vacuum cleaner
We go with the flow
It sucks but it never blows
Inside the vacuum cleaner
Suck suck suck suck
Suck
Suck suck suck suck
Suck
Lyrics and music by jdavidb
Everyone likes this once they hear it, and NOW it has a video to go with it!
It's only 1 minute and 30 seconds

Alienate the Masses
My heavy metal magnum opus :D
Using a pick on bass isn't what I usually do, but it was the best sound for this song. It's not all picked bass though. There's some finger playing later in the song.
