My cartoons have appeared in national magazines like the National Enquirer, Sun, Saturday Evening Post, The National Times, American Police Beat, The Police Officers Journal, Physician, The Medical Post, Funny Times, England's Punch magazine, etc. and they were published in a few books. After my book "A Treasury of Police Humor" was published a few years ago, I was interviewed on New York radio and on a late night talk show for cops on New York TV. (Sorry about the poor video quality, but I transferred it from an old VHS tape.)

This is a video I shot on September 11 2001, when the smoke from the World Trade Center attack was hanging over our neighborhood. Two days later all the bridges were still off limits, so I took a ferry from Staten Island to Manhattan. It was pretty eerie to see the skyline without the twin towers. In Manhattan I walked from Battery Park through the Wall Street Area up to the World Trade Center. A lot of the dirt had already been cleaned up, but there were still mountains of dust and papers everywhere. A lot of people were wearing facial masks. There were reporters everywhere, interviewing anyone who was willing to talk to them. Back then I still had a press pass, so I was able to get past the guards who blocked off the actual Ground Zero area. I took some video footage from the Ground Zero press center. It was pretty amazing to see hundreds of reporters from all over the world standing in front of the smoking debree.

I went on a trip to Yosemite Park in 2002. Yosemite Park is very close to the border between California and Nevada, and close to Area 51. In the evening, on my way out of the park, I was driving down a winding road, when I saw a small ball of light high up in the sky, with a large halo of light surrounding it, and a long twirled trail behind it. I video taped it for a few seconds, and then I grapped my camera to take some photos as well, in case the video camera didn't capture it well enough. Unfortunately it was too dark for the photo camera, so the pictures didn't come out. All I have is the video I took before and after I took the photos. The ball of light with the huge halo moved across the sky, leaving a trail. After about 2 minutes the ball of light disappeared, and only the trail remained. The trail was illuminated and still brightly visible even when the surrounding sky was already pitch black. A few minutes later several Air Force jets appeared and circled in the sky where the light had disappeared.

After my wife saw Lassie save Timmy from a well, she wanted to find out if our dogs would rescue her, too. So she hid in a box and waited to see what would happen.

We have a chocolate Lab, who loves to go swimming. Last summer she had puppies, and apparently they love water, too. They climb up the latter to our pool and go swimming.

Whenever I chew gum, my dogs try to get it. So one day I decided to tape what would happen if I let them get the gum.
