Minha alma signifie: Mon âme. La dixième composition de mon deuxième album que j'ai nommé: "Manauara" (c'est le nom des habitants nés à Manaus). Je l'ai habillée avec un diaporama d'images en haute définition (plein écran préférable). J'ai d'abord composé rapidement quelques suites d'accords, des arpèges, plus ou moins articulés les uns aux autres, et puis je me suis lancé dans une improvisation enregistrée en direct. Minha alma means: My soul. The 10th composition of my second album called: "Manauara" (it's the name of the inhabitants been born at Manaus). I dressed it with a slide show of pictures in high definition (full screen preferable). I first composed quickly some continuations of accords, arpeggios, more or less articulated the one to the other, and then I got involved in an improvisation recorded in direct.

J'ai composé cette musique dans un état de grande désespérance. Elle dit: "Non, non, je vous en prie, non, puisque je vous dis que je ne veux pas, s'il-vous-plait!!!" Et quand je l'ai filmé, j'étais hyper concentré sur le potentiomètre de Audacity (pour le son) pour ne pas passer dans le rouge, et sur Windows Movie Maker pour l'image, avant de mixer le tout... Quelle salade!! Et toujours cette chaleur éprouvante (35°) qui m'a fait tomber le tee-shirt... Pardonnez-moi! I composed this music in a state of huge despair. It says: "No, no, I ask it from you, no, since I say to you that I do not want, it-you-likes it!!!" And when I filmed it, I was hyper concentrated on the potentiometer of Audacity (for the sound) not to pass in the red, and on Windows Movie Maker for the image, before mixing the whole... What a salad!! And always this testing heat (35°) which made me fall the tee-shirt... Forgive me!

Nostalgie, solitude et souvenirs de l'être aimé. Composé en aout 2005, avec un prélude composé le 19 mai 2007. Cette musique est née en moi quand je suis revenu de Manaus, et que je suis resté pendant 3 semaines à Reims pour préparer mon départ définitif pour l'Amazonie, et épouser la femme qui m'attendait là-bas. Nostalgia, loneliness and memories of the beloved person. Composed in August 2005, with a made up prelude on May 19, 2007. This music was born in me when I returned from Manaus, and that I remained during 3 weeks in Reims (France) to prepare my final departure for Amazonia, and to marry the lady who was awaiting me over there.

It's no more a "Valse allegretto"..., but it's still from Fernandino Carulli Ce n'est plus une "Valse allegretto"..., mais c'est encore de Fernandino Carulli J'avais depuis longtemps le désir de jouer cette pièce facile techniquement, mais aussi difficile à interpréter. Il n'y a qu'aujourd'hui que j'ai pu réaliser ce souhait. Un diaporama de vacances à Fortaleza (côte brésilienne nord) pour occuper vos yeux pendant ce temps... I had for a long time the desire to play this music easy technically, but so difficult to interpret. It is only today that I could carry out this wish. I made finally the video, instead of a simple diaporama (do have a look at "Vai e sai"), plus an introduction that I had on the heart, very acoustic. One of my very first compositions, but played on my Almansa 435 Cutaway, in my house at Manaus (Amazonia). Sorry for the half nacked body, but here we have 35° Celsius pretty all the time!!! It's my first video... This video is a homage to Paco Talarn. Une de mes premières compositions, mais jouée sur mon Almansa 435 Cutaway, dans ma maison de Manaus (Amazonia). Désolé pour le corps à moitié dénudé, mais ici on a 35° Celsius pratiquement tout le temps. C'est ma première vidéo... Elle est un hommage à Paco Talarn.

N'ayant pourtant jamais composé avant, en avril 2005 j'improvise en direct sur la guitare, en 5 mn, "Marie" qui préfigurait la rencontre que j'allais faire 8 jours plus tard et qui allait bouleverser ma vie: Maria-Luiza l'amazone, que j'allais épouser 7 mois plus tard. Je dédie cette musique à mon neveu Gabriel, que j'aime beaucoup. "Vai e sai", ce qui signifie: "va et sort". Autrement dit: va, sort, et vit ta vie. J'avais en tête la notion de libération de quelque chose qui me maintenait prisonnier, jusqu'à ce que je prenne la décision de dire: NON ! Alors je suis sorti de cette prison virtuelle, et j'ai respiré l'air frais.
