There are two ways to look at this video, Seriously (for those who ship Tokka) or comidicly (those who may not). Serious Plot: Toph likes Sokka. Alot. One night by she and Sokka are left alone while Aang and Kataara go out for some "fire wood'. She tells Sokka how she feels and asks him if he feels the same. But Sokka has felt love before and in both cases the women he loved suffered or died. (Yue and Suki) He doesn't want to hurt Toph and he tells her so. She doesnt reply and so he simply says "I'm sorry, Toph...". She is hurt and puts her head down and away from Sokka's view where she sadly says "Its not your fault Sokka." A few nights later, Toph hears a noise in the night and goes to inspect alone, only to be captured and imprisoned in a Wooden (non-bendable) prison. Sokka doesnt believe he can help her at first but go out with his sister and Aang anyway. He realizes how strong his feelings are for Toph along the way and regrets not being able to tell her how he felt. Toph waits in her cell, thinking of Sokka and the others all the time. Azula tells Sokka that Toph has given up on him. With a huge amount of pain shot at him he realizes he may have the his new love down. He doesn't want Toph to feel anymore pain than she has in her life and demands that Azula tell him where she is being held. He remembers thier talks and friendship. He promises they wont be apart for to long. COMEDIC: Avatar:As the World Turns! ^^; Soap Opera-y, no? That just what it is. Overly Dramatic Tokka Romance. Mello. Near. Matt. L. They have all had difficult lifes. Throughout thier lives they've contsantly fought to be the best, to get the attention, to get praise or a sense of accomplishment which they all seemed to despretly crave. But none of them could truely become who they wanted to be, because someone eles was always one step ahead. Matt could not surpass Mello. Mello could not surpass Near. Near couldn't surpass L. And L could not beat Light. (Though I dont touch so much on the L and Light part.) Even though all of them compete they were, in fact, friends with those "superior" to them and they do have good memories together that they hope the other will keep in mine in the end. Eventually they all (excluding L) found the best way to become the best was to team up with those superior to them, thought it almost always leads to the end of thier lifes. They try leave thier mark on the land and hope they are not forgotten. I believe they each all deaply speak the message, "when my time comes forget the wrong that I've done. Help me leave behind some reason to be missed. And dont resent me. When you're feeling empty keep me in your memory. Leave out all the Rest..." I cant help but think that, just before they all commit these selfless acts they still feel the pain that comes with never being able to get to where you want ot be who you want to be.
