The backbone of taking the war to the enemy for nearly half a decade was RAF Bomber Command. Great respect to the crews of the Lancasters and Halifaxes shown in this video. Only one thing bugs me about the footage - they have obviously dubbed it; the sound of the explosions is in synch with the detonation and yet it must be miles away. Doc makers frequently cock this up - to hell with the physics, it's all for dramatic effect.

The Battle of Iwo Jima was fought during February and March of 1945, during the Pacific Campaign of World War II. As a result of the battle, the United States gained control of the island of Iwo Jima, and the airfields located there. Both sides suffered heavy losses; of the 22,000 Japanese troops stationed on the island, only 1083 survived, with the US losing a total of 6,821.

Equipment engineer who has worked on lethal injection, electrocution and gas chamber technologies. Because of his experience he was called as a witness in the Canadian trial of Ernst Zundel. After a trip to the Auschwitz "death camp" where samples where taken from the "gas chambers" looking for Zyklon-B residue, no residue was found and Leuchter testified that the gas chambers are a hoax.
