I swap bikes with Carl and try out his Honda VFR800 Interceptor. It's a V4 engine, and it's remarkably smooth. I was expecting something like a V-twin, except smoother, but it felt like an inline-4 engine. It was a lot smoother than my R1, yet it has a nice torque curve to it. I had met Carl when we were bidding on the same bike, and I didn't bid against him on it. It's a fantastic bike, with some nice mods all over it. When he bought the bike, it only had 2200 miles on it. I really like the Interceptor. I was looking into buying a red one a while back, and of course, Carl's black Interceptor. I was reading up on the bike, and I found some type of engine evolution page. I can't recall, but it went on to say that the Interceptor employed the V4 design. Anyways, I made a mistake in the 2 cylinders kicking in. I should have said 2 *valves* per cylinder are used for fuel economy, and above 6800 rpm, and additional 2 VTEC valves kick in for more power.

Lordsley Quarry - Part 3
I zoom in and inspect some hallucinogenic mushrooms, although I didn't realise they were at the time. I talk about badger baiting, the old laptop I'm using at my parents home and tricks to play with electric fences.
There's some info about that particular variety of mushroom in my photos section if anyone is interested.

Lordsley Quarry - Part 1
I take a walk to Lordsley Quarry where, as a teenager, I used to ride my off road motorcycle. I approach the quarry from the working section but bottle it as the security seems very high and I get scared of walking into quick sand. I'll try to gain entrance from the other side which is disused. This is not a motorcycle related series so I'm not sure if it will interest anyone but I thought I'd upload it anyway.

Lennon, with his old school scarf. We used to get the number 46, on our way to Liverpool's old Quarry bank school too. Lovely song, full of hope.

I go back out later in the day and attempt to gain entry to the quarry from the other side. I have put some info about those mushrooms in the photos section.

Lordsley Quarry - Part 4
In the final video of this series I talk about fishing in the silt beds as a kid. I reach the end of the path at the quarry entrance and take a look around. As I leave, I discover when I visited earlier in the day I wasn't alone. I show you some spooky gates and film some of the failed crops I talked about.
