Time Travel Clyde- The Mysteries of Time was a CD-ROM game idea we developed in the year 2000. The story is based on Time Travel Clyde as seen on ClydeSight2.0 - The Fun and Games Cat site on the Internet. http://www.clydesight.com/times.html The CD game was a first person interactive puzzle adventure game, much like MYST and Starship Titanic. In the game, the player helps Clyde, the Time Traveling Cat, save two dogs from an unethical scientific experiment that is taking place in the Virtual Future. But along the way, the space time continuum has become corrupted, and the player - along with Clyde - must enter the Matrix of Alternative Time and solve puzzles presented by CHRONOS, the Guardian of Time, and correct fluctuations in the time stream. In this transitional video, the player (with Clyde's help) has solved the first of CHRONOS' challenges and is sent through the "Eye of Chronos" into the Time Stream to an historical period to correct a time fluctuation. This first time period is called "Jurassic Bark" and is filled with strange dinosaurs that followed a definitely different evolutionary path from the dinosaurs we have come to know in our reality. In the video we see a flying Pterodactyl to indicate where we are in time. But after landing, the player must explore this new prehistoric world, meet its residents and restore history to its rightful order.

I thought "Zeppelin vs. Pterodactyls" was just an idea that was floated by Hammer Films in 1971 and never developed. It turns out Hammer was just reviving this forgotten Republic Pictures serial from 1936. Watch for tiny parts by Bela Lugosi, Noah Beery, John Wayne, Ralph Byrd, John King, the Wilhelm Scream and Terence Stamp. Why does that kid exclaim "Mammy" as if that's the 1936 equivalent of "sweet"?
