The new structure would create a need for 1,900 full-time employees, and 800 indirect jobs for the area. According to a preliminary study organized by Bruce Power, they say that a 10-year site preparation and construction period would generate $12 billion for the Alberta economy, and $7.3 for the Peace River region.
