Mahna Mahna
This song was originally written by Piero Umiliani and debuted, in 1968, in a Swedish soft porn during a sauna scene! Several versions appeared, until Henson finally performed it on the Ed Sullivan Show, later on Sesame Street, and this version which was in the first recorded episode of the Muppet Show, in 1976. It was this version which took the song to #1 on the UK charts, that year. Some of you may also remember the sax version on the Benny Hill Show.
