Life and love and all that pertains to them: It's all a "livin' thing". This is the reason why "it's magic". This is my video interpretation of another Electric Light Orchestra classic with me playing the song. The pictures here are deliberately moving and hazy in order to depict the fact that life and love are always moving within the powerful mystery that they both are. This is a demo of making a midi file. I import a Steely Dan song into Sonar 4 then begin creating a midi file, using the original as a pattern. I am 50 years of age and have enjoyed working with MIDI since it began in the early 1980's. M.I.D.I. is an acronym. it stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. Simply put; that means it connects electronic instruments (midi keyboard) to a computer or sequencer.
