"Time After Time " (cover)
We had a lot of fun making this one. But sheesh! All the gas it took to get to all these different shooting locations....but you guys are worth it! We knew we would be seeing you guys again. Bottom line...anything for a friend, i.e., a prayer, a hug, money (not too much though...Lol), or just some love and support, we find ourselfscoming over there and meeting the need"Time After Time." Hey...we have been blessed greatly...so to much is given, much is required. We know that to be true and are use to it. :)
"Time after Time" was a single by singer Cyndi Lauper, the second from her She's So Unusual album, and it reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts on June 9, 1984. The song was at #1 for two weeks and to date is her second highest charting and most commercially successful single worldwide after "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," also reaching #3 on the UK Singles Chart and #6 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
"Time after Time" was nominated for "Song of the Year" at the 1985 Grammy Awards. The ballad is considered a classic of the 1980s and is still played frequently on adult contemporary radio.

Money Changes Everything
So...You thought "Money Changes Everything" was written by Cyndi Lauper?.....WRONG!------- It was written by Tom Gray
This is Tom Gray, the guy who wrote the song "Money Changes Everything". He was in a little ol' Atlanta band called "The Brains" from "back in the day"! On this night he was backed up by the Atlanta band "Swimming Pool Q's". Also in attendance was the drummer for The Brains, Charles Wolff. And as Anne Boston of the Q's said:(paraphrased) "Tom and Charles comprise half a Brain"
Check out more info on The Brains and this song at:

And as long as I've got you in a clicking mood, check out The Swimming Pool Q's MySpace page...it rocks! as do The Q's...not only as a band, but each as an individual as well! Genuinely good folks!

She said I'm sorry baby I'm leaving you tonight
I found someone new he's waitin' in the car outside
Ah honey how could you do it
We swore each other everlasting love
She said well yeah I know but when
We did - there was one thing we weren't
Really thinking of and that's money
Money changes everything
Money, money changes everything
We think we know what we're doin'
That don't mean a thing
It's all in the past now
Money changes everything
They shake your hand and they smile
And they buy you a drink
They say we'll be your friends
We'll stick with you till the end
Ah but everybody's only
Looking out for themselves
And you say well who can you trust
I'll tell you it's just
Nobody else's money
Money changes everything
Money changes everything
We think we know what we're doin'
We don't pull the strings
It's all in the past now
Money changes everything
Money changes everything
Money changes everything
We think we know what we're doing
We don't know a thing
It's all in the past now
Money changes everything
Money changes everything
Money changes everything

Time After Time
I did this video a few weeks to a month after Tainted Love so I'd say somewhere in December though I didn't get around to uploading it to my AMVs.org account until recently.
I watched this very cute - albeit old - OVA called Ryokohunoharu Labyrinth which was acquired from Aarinfantasy.com's forums and just had to make a video for it. So I picked something from the same decade - the 80s - and decided that Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper would work pretty good. I'd been waiting to use this song ever since I started making videos really but no other show or anime seemed to go good with it to me so I saved it until this came along. ^.^
The OVA is Shounen Ai focused though there is no real kissing involved. There are also some cute scenes of the two as children - hugging and being adorably close in friendship terms. Not shota by any means - I promise. If you have a problem with homosexuality I don't recommend watching this music video or the OVA used for it. I also don't recommend this video to those who hate the 80s art style of anime.
