The iguana walked through the yard, saw me, and continued on to the patio where he sat for a minute or two and watched me through the sliding glass. My cat, Mikey, was running back and forth like crazy from one window to the other! Thus.....the reason why maybe I shouldn't get one as a pet.....

On Monday, September 17, 2007, we took in a new rescue. This time instead of a cat, we took in a two foot Iguana named Spike. As you can see, Spike has a growth on the side of his face. In this video Spike is enjoying shredded carrots. On Thursday, September 29th, we took her to our exotic vet who removed the growth. She is culturing it to see what we are dealing with. Somehow, all of Spike's front claws were missing before we took her in. According to the vet they may never grow back.
