For The Love Of Cyprus © The Constantia Brothers
An international music video featuring the Constantia Brothers was shot at the world famous Pavilion Theatre on Cromer pier and East Runton beach. The 3 minute long film score called ‘For The Love Of Cyprus’ was penned by Bouzouki impresario, Yas Yiasimi and was picked up by Carlin Music of London together with 5 other tracks that were aired at last years Olympics in Athens. ‘For The Love Of Cyprus’ is a powerful musical arrangement dedicated to the late Bob Barratt, the Constantia’s founder and producer.
The whole project was kicked into action after a call from International Greek Television wanting to screen the song. In true Constantia Brothers fashion everything to do with the release is to have a Norfolk flavour to it, from Location right through to the film director. Norwich born independent film director, Liz Gould was thrown into the international film arena to direct and produce the music video, she says ‘the film piece is an exciting mixture of animation and real live action reflecting the story of the Constantia Brothers and their amazing background’ Liz studied at the Royal College of art in London before returning to Norfolk and is about to start teaching on a film school course which is being run in collaboration with Cinema City (The Arts Cinema in Norwich)
This is by far the biggest production the Constantia Brothers have embarked on and its extraordinary to think it should come when the boys have taken a step back from performing to produce and direct others. ‘Such is the music game’ Explains Andreas chief PR for the band ‘things come when least expected in the industry and it just underlines how unpredictable the music business can be’ The filming was spread over three days. Locations included Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge, London and Ashwood Studio in Norwich where the track was actually recorded

Plato - Democracy (direct democracy is was Plato is talking about)
-- Political Systems 1/3
Plato among the Greeks was the first who conceived a method of knowledge, although neither of them always distinguished the bare outline or form from the substance of truth. He was the greatest metaphysical genius whom the world has seen; and in him, more than in any other ancient thinker, the germs of future knowledge are contained. The sciences of logic and psychology, which have supplied so many instruments of thought to after-ages, are based upon the analyses of Socrates and Plato.
Could there be a more clear sign of genius than the ability to create what has timeless value? To create timeless knowledge, a philosopher has to reach out to the absolute truth, for only truth does never change, and thus never looses it’s value. That’s what constitutes the main difference between a philosopher and a mere ideologist, the “truth” of the ideologist has constantly to be re-adjusted whenever it comes in contact with reality, the unchanging object of knowledge, or whenever time went by and changed the external appearances, the ever changing object of ignorant fools and the ideologist.

Socrates on the Soul (Second Edition)
Socrates is widely considered to be the father of western thought, for more than anyone else Socrates made the people aware and thus ashamed of their own ignorance. Socrates stands for the divine, his death became an immortal symbol for the evil of ignorance, the greatest evil of them all.
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance".

Stoic Philosophy - Epictetus Enchiridion1/2
Epictetus was a Roman slave of Greek descent, he was a follower of Ceno and the stoic way of thought. Rather than seeking for “nothingness”, like in Buddhism and related schools of thought, Stoic philosophy is about gaining control over oneself and the understanding that some things are simply not in our control.
The Enchiridion is a good introduction to the stoic way of thought.
"What then is the fruit of these opinions? It is that which ought to he the most noble and the most becoming to those who are really educated, release from perturbation, release from fear, freedom. For in these matters we must not believe the many, who say that free persons only ought to be educated, but we should rather believe the philosophers, who say that the educated only are free."
