The Galop Canal, Part 2, Cardinal, Ontario and the wreck of "The Connie" (Conestoga)

The Galop Canal is one of the last vestiges of the pre-Seaway St. Lawrence River. From 1849 until the 1958, it was one of the sets of locks which permitted boats to bypass the rapids which lay between the US and Canadian sides of the St. Lawrence between Cornwall and Prescott.
