The story begins in the 80s where we meet an unlikely group of characters while in high school. They are social outcasts who, years later, find each other again to battle an onslaught of zombies. One of the group, now a mad scientist, accidentally deploys a biological weapon he has stabilized and stored in a shipment of douches, creating havoc and hundreds of undead prostitutes. When his business starts to decline, a pimp decides to take matters into his own hands. A diferencia del resto de las películas, si guarda relación con la historia original. Tenkai-hen joso Overture, además de ser una secuela de Saint Seiya, inicia la etapa final de la serie. Se cierra un ciclo; el ciclo de Atenea. Atenea reencarna cada 200 años para enfrentar a Hades que vuelve de entre los muertos para intentar dominar al mundo, es la razón por la que existe una historia que contar sobre Seiya y los Santos de Atenea. Hades ha sido derrotado para siempre (lo que llevaría a no más batallas mitológicas) y con esa saga se cerraron todos los cabos sueltos.
