Hitlers Wonder Weapons - 1/2
Link to part 2/2 below
It's WWII and Hitler has invested considerably in non-conventional weapons and armament development.
There were hundreds of Nazi projects for new fighters, bombers, and missiles, as well as many intriguing projects, prototypes and even small-scale productions of advanced weaponry, still quite obscure by today's technological standards.

Highlights - Collingwood Round 6 (Anzac Day) - 2008
Collingwood returned to the winners week this week with a pretty easy 73 point victory. It was everything we could've hoped for after the disappointing finish last week. Medhurst was simply outstanding and so to Pendlebury and Cloke.
I had to do a fair bit of editing this week so sorry if I have missed your favourite highlight. They went with songs to the battle, they were young. Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted, They fell with their faces to the foe. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.

CBS Misses 3 Chances At History
911 was an inside crime. It continues.
The only thing real on 911 was TV fakery. Everything else we were shown on TV was false.
Thanks and a tip of our hat to Joe Craine, YouTube martyr.

Rocket firing Typhoons WW2
Rocket firing Typhoons WW2 - but that's just part of this excellent (IMHO) clip because you see other classic examples of the use of rocket projectiles in WW2 from the invasion barges to the first use of SAMs, ground to air guided rockets. But IMO the most effective was the Tiffie hammering the Panzers post D Day.

The EE Canberra in RAF service
Canberras saw service in many air forces but the first and last was the RAF. This plane was designed just after WW2 and yet was good enough to be worth retaining as a PR plane until just a few years ago. Like the Jaguar, SHAR and other planes many consider the decision to retire such aircraft a mistake.

WW2 Lancaster and Halifax Bombers
The backbone of taking the war to the enemy for nearly half a decade was RAF Bomber Command. Great respect to the crews of the Lancasters and Halifaxes shown in this video. Only one thing bugs me about the footage - they have obviously dubbed it; the sound of the explosions is in synch with the detonation and yet it must be miles away. Doc makers frequently cock this up - to hell with the physics, it's all for dramatic effect.

Collingwood faced up against arch rivals essendon and for the first time in a number of years beat them twice in the same year. Th Collingwood faced up against arch rivals essendon and for the first time in a number of years beat them twice in the same year. The first half was owned by Collingwood smashing the bombers to lead by as much as 39, the third the bombers faught back with 8 goals to four. The character of Collingwood shone through in the last with them kicking four goals to one to run out 29 point winners. Watch out for leons ripper of a goal but also the pack marking of both Travis Cloke and Anthony Rocca. Next up is Brisbane.
