Unusual airshow performers are the Douglas DC6 and Lockheed Electra, then we see a couple of more familiar items the DC3 and B17. I missed this Coventry Airshow darn it. Went there years ago but I don't think they run it any more. The company behind it is Air Atlantique - I have had a ride in one of their DC3s - and they are a commercial cargo company but just happen to have superb planes like these and the SA Twin Pioneer and even a Shackleton!

This (in my opinion) is by far the best mini story in the Heavy Metal movie. The orb of pure evil trancends time and space to arrive in World War II, right in the middle of a massive air battle. Awsomeness.
