The Vote for Obama Song
The Vote For Obama Song
If what you want is
Change you can believe in
You got to change the things
You now are believin in
And for once, take a chance
And believe in this man
Called Barrack Obama
When he says that
Special interests lobby is out
I think he means that
Justice truly is in
And peace and love and freedom
And change that you can
Really rely on
True to the great
American belief that
All men are equal before
And behind the law
He has promised
He won't look down upon
Other world nations
So if what you want is
Peace and freedom for mankind
Cleaner environment
Health Insurance & jobs
There's only one thing
To do and only an
American can do it
Vote for obama

WHY NOT Try Obama by Thomas Easaw
'WHY NOT TRY OBAMA' by Thomas Easaw
Civilizations, Great nations
Were never for ever
The Romans, the Greek
And the British
Were all overtaken
So beware
A weakened dollar
And pseudo
Economics
Cannot help any longer
You need a different man to lead you today
To a world where
Dignity, freedom, equality
Belongs to every body
And the rest of the world is not
Treated as a backyard
And to do this
You need somebody
Who gives respect
To take it back
In abundance
Someone who stands for the right
Not for the left over
So America
Think it over
Why
Not
Try
OBAMA?

Dungeons Of War © CITADEL ®
DUNGEONS OF WAR ©G. Whitman (BMI)
I have seen the faces of eyes that have turned to walk away,
a trembling hand upon the hilt
the skies of blue turn to a dismal grey
Many feet in a foreign land
many banners raised
This I’ve seen, and shall see again, unless the faults of mankind are erased!
Away from the Dungeons (of War) where the fire falls like rain!
And how many lives are spent in a mask of flaming pain?
In need of a reason they shall stain the sinner’s sword
With futile hopes of gaining a crown as the ‘just’ reward
(Lead – Chorus 1 Repeat)
Tears are shed over brothers lost
half a man never feels the same
The hands still clean of the men behind the scenes
of satan’s games
I have seen the faces of those who’ll never really walk away
Empty Stares, a bleeding heart, and vengeance stored ‘till the final day
Away from the Dungeons (of War) where the innocent are slain!
And how many lives are spent in a daze of placing blame?
This is the season to make plowshares from our swords
With future hopes of gaining peace as the ‘just’ reward
(Lead – Chorus 2 Repeat)

About:
DUNGEONS OF WAR ©G. Whitman (BMI)
This song is written from the perspective of the Earth looking on as we tiny, temporal beings blow each other up – and the land and animals too! Without taking a political side everyone can agree that war is a dungeon of pain and suffering, usually led by those behind the scenes who never get their own hands bloody…all for a crown, for the conquest…grown-up neighborhood bullies who take from others by force that which they cannot attain on their own merits… “Dungeons of War” also takes a few biblical lines into the discussion, “this is the season to make plowshares from our swords” and also fits into the “Citadel of Cynosure” storyline as the battle that forces the Dreemurz and Rezistors to make the ultimate choice when the Affrage invade their domain.
Sounds of This Song:
War Intro with lonely violin-sounding guitar, classical march into main song verse, 12-string in 5/4. Then a pounding from the heavy rock chorus, thundering guitar solo and another chorus leads to the middle lead over the 12-string. 2nd verse/chorus/lead/chorus and then a snappy, choppy end - with the foley (sound effects) going throughout...

Wet & Wild Anti War / Profiteering Protest 2004
During the 26- 28th April 2004 Large Businesses Executives and Representatives ( including Shell, ExxonMobil, ChevronTexaco and US arms manufacturer Raytheon )gathered like vultures to slice and dice up Iraq, not for the benefit of the IRaqi people, but for themselves.
This meeting was fittingly called the "Iraq Procurement Conference"
I went to London on the 27th to film and participate in one of the protests and this is the footage from that day.
By the time I arrived, it was absolutely pouring down with rain in sheets, and began to thunder with ice-cold hail too.
This however did not put off any of the protesters who were some of the most amazing and passionate people I've witnessed in my life.
In the video you will see some arrests, drumming, and also the remarkable Insurgent Rebel Clown Army who were amazing to watch interacting with police.
If you happened to be at this protest and would like some of the original footage please get in touch and I can sort you out.
This protest went very under reported, but was a priveledge to be at and witness as it showed me how heroic and passionate people can be in the most adverse of circumstances when all odds are against them.
When watching the arrests, keep in mind that these arrests are of the people who cared most at that moment for the people of Iraq, whilst our beloved leaders stood idly by and sent more of our troops into harms way.
Watching this footage again has nearly brought me to tears.
The accompanying music is by myself, featuring dialogue from Author "Howard Bloom", taken from a BBC late night TV program called "Disinfonation".
Peace and respects to all involved in this process, you are all my heroes ( and heroins! )

Deaf and Dumb and Blind
This anti-war song was written at the time of the Vietnam war, but it is equally applicable to the USA's invasion of Iraq.
Lyrics:
Can't you hear the children crying?
Can't you hear their voices calling?
Can't you hear the moans of dying?
Can't you hear the big bombs falling?
Can you put it from your mind?
Are you deaf and dumb and blind?
Can't you see a nation's sin?
Can't you see that war's absurd?
Can't you see beneath the skin?
Can't you look behind a word?
Will empty words block up your mind?
Are you deaf and dumb and blind?
Can't you raise your voice in protest?
Can't you call for peace and sanity,
And then back your words with action?
Can't you speak from your humanity?
Can you close your mouth and mind?
Are you deaf and dumb and blind?
This song is on my fourth CD, "Pigs Might Fly and Other Politically Incorrect Songs."

DEMORALIZED
Geoffrey Millard, a veteran of the Iraq war, responds to those who say Cindy Sheehan and the protesters demoralize the troops. He argues that it's the lies and the carnage of war that make it difficult for the troops to do their job, not a grieving mother asking, "What Noble Cause were they fighting for?"

Osama bin Laden (Original)
A song I wrote a few years ago about Osama's attacks on the west and Bush's "war on terror". There are no heroes in this story.
Lyrics:
Osama bin Laden was a-walking one day.
He came to a mosque so he popped in to pray.
He said, "Lord, what are we going to do about the US of A?
It's big, bad and ugly, and it won't go away!"
The answer came to him: "I'll leave it to you.
Your supporters are many and they'll know what to do.
They're ready to die for what's right and what's true.
The Crusaders need a lesson, and it's long overdue."
Osama had friends who could lend him a hand.
The plot he came up with was carefully planned.
He butchered the infidels in their own land.
Concrete and steel became nothing but sand.
He president stood with his heart full of lead.
In sorrow and anger he nodded his head.
"I want Osama bin Laden," he said.
"I want him alive or, preferably, dead."
Now Bush declares war on whoever he can.
Terrorists everywhere run from this man.
The sole superpower attacks Afghanistan
And frees it from the grip of the bold Taliban.
Saddam Hussein made George Bush's blood boil.
"That man gave my father much trouble and toil.
I'll send out my soldiers to Iraqi soil.
They'll be looking for weapons, not looking for oil!"
Osama had no love for Saddam Hussein.
He wasn't Islamic enough it was plain.
A brutal, but secular, regime in the main.
Women even had jobs there - and that's just insane!
Peace in Iraq is much worse than the war.
There are more people dying than ever before.
At least in the past there was some kind of law,
But now it's the rule of the tooth and the claw.
So, fighters for Islam, come gather ye round.
Extremists for Allah, for Baghdad we're bound.
Terrorism will grow in Iraq's fertile ground
And American targets can easily be found.
Join the jihad against the barbarian horde
And, if you should die by the infidel's sword,
You can go up to heaven and claim your reward;
With seventy-two virgins you'll never get bored.
Osama bin Laden was walking scot-free.
He said, "I thought George Bush would be looking for me,
But he seemed to think Saddam Hussein held the key.
The American dogs are barking up the wrong tree."
When stupidity rules in the world's greatest land
They are playing right into the terrorists' hand.
The fires of love, not of hate, must be fanned
And all those who know this must now take a stand.
Be ye Hindu or Christian or Muslim or Jew,
No matter by what name your God's known to you,
You can fight for religion 'til you're red, white and blue,
But it's only in peace that the truth can come through.
Osama bin Laden, some day you will die.
Do you think you'll go straight to that land in the sky?
God will send you to Hell with a tear in His eye.
Go read your Quran and you'll understand why.
