An Often-Overlooked Alternative Transportation: Quads. Why do people always laugh and expect that I must also carry a big boom box on my shoulder? The fact is that outdoor wheels and skate technologies have come a long way - so, if you are like me and all your childhood rollerskating practice caused you to almost kill yourself by not knowing how to stop on roller blades... have comfort that the slightly spongy outdoor wheels made now make it MUCH easier to deal with bumpy terrain and all your instincts that tell you your stopper is in the front... well, they are. I can't tell you how awesome my quads are outside. In this case, I was making my way though a community garage sale easliy.. sailing past people looking at me like... wtf? are you seriously on roller skates? Argh! Yes. Yes I am. And they rock. Do you have a problem with that. Whatever. If my work were closer (15 miles is a haul on skates), you know I'd skate it. If my city were more ped friendly, I think everyone could use them locally to get around.. well, ok, not everyone, but hey.

SPOILERS - eps 1 to 25, and a bit from 35 (Matt). OK, I'd better explain this (!) ~ the 'hook' for this video, or the thing which got me thinking about using this song for L, was the chorus line "it'd be so empty without me". And I find making crazy videos like this a lot of fun! (I think I know the attraction of the Sims now :) BTW, I DO actually like the other characters! But I think L is great. The footage used in each repetition of the chorus is supposed to be a timeline, to reflect L's awesome contribution to the interesting storylines in Death Note. (The scenes shown for the chorus, in order, were:- seeing the Kira killings and realising who Kira's first victim actually was, Raye Penber, 2nd Kira, Light turning good (and handcuffs), Yotsuba, seeing the Shinigami).
