My second sniplets installment. I've decided to make them somewhat shorter and therefore more frequent than they would otherwise be. I apologize to those who I promised would be in this episode who aren't in it. I WILL get to you. I just kinda did this one on the spur of the moment based around a recent video (DaDuck's on LiveVideo) and had to use just what sniplets fit with that one vid. The illusion of a standing block of water is created by an acrylic case hidden by transparency and water cascading down the sides, and the vortex itself is formed through the combination of strong, alternate currents of water that collide in the tank.

I attached my video camera to a cat III night vision eyepiece and this was the result. Perhaps unimpressive to the layperson, but to an avid amateur astronomer, the results were impressive for a first attempt! I plan to do more.
