Viet Cong Bamboo Trap - Cu Chi near Saigon
A bamboo trap that ensared US soldiers just outside Saigon, in the VC Staging area. This is the real stuff that we used to see in all the Vietnam war movies that came out in the 80's

The Vietnam War
A video I made as a surprise for my history teacher to honor his best friend that died in Vietnam. I do not own the song in the video or any of the pictures. The song is Heaven Forbid by The Fray.

Retiring The F14 - Viewer Request
Some of us are attracted to the machinery and technology of men and their wars. In this case the F14, one of the most advanced fighter planes of the 20th Century was retired in September, 2006. A Youtube viewer asked that I produce a tribute to this aircraft that had advance so far from the journey's into first manned flight earlier in the century. Hope you enjoy this, many others have. Here is a message received from Jim Wilkins on April 13th, 2007:
Tom,
Nice tribute to a kick-butt aircraft. I was fortunate enough to be working for Grumman Aerospace during the F-14's production run, and in fact met my best friend (for over 30 years now) while at Grumman's plant 58. Admiral Halsey made a more... statement in WW2 that still holds true: "The name Grumman on a plane is like the name Sterling on Silver". Thank you for an entertaining vistory of this remarkable aircraft.
Peace,
Jim
Thank you for this Jim. Teejay
