I like the pairing too, and the only reason why I don't fully ship is... 1. I ship Ty Lokka. 2. I ship Zutara and I think that if Zuko was to marry Katara and Sokka was to marry Azula, the brother/sister/in-law thing would get really confusing. Story: Sokka and Azula have been dating for a while (nine months). Sokka wants out because he's finally realized that Azula is a complete and total control freak. So, he leaves her. Azula, now hell bent on killing all of Sokka's friends and family, ie, Zuko, Katara, Toph and Aang. (Hey, I ship Zutara and Taang, plus, Aang, Toph, Zuko and Katara make mini cameos in this vid, I need a reason to explain them. Iroh too! ^^) This is the worse thing for Sokka right now, seeing that he isn't on the best of terms with his sister's fiance. (Yes, in this vid Zuko and Katara are planning to get married. Its also an AU vid but since Avatar isn't in our world, you guys just have to use your imagination.)

I can't believe I'm the first one to use this song for a Sokkla vid. Well, I think I'm the first, anyway. I've tried making Sokkla vids in the past, but I couldn't find the right song, or the lack of clips of them together hurt. Well, I saw the "I, Avatar" trailer that was made by POTexaco, and I wanted to try my hand at something similar. I immediately started on this, and this trailer starring Sokka and Suki and Azula, was the result. Enjoy.

There is a really great vid to this song, featuring the Naruto Girls (Sakura, Hinata, Ino, Temari and Tenten) and I was inspired by that vid to make the Vertigo- Avatar Girls version. I'm really proud of this vid. Anyways on the production end of it, my movie maker was a butt today! For some reason, whenever I edited it, the song would start at a different spot, and so, I had to watch the whole damn thing from the beginning, just to make sure my added and edited clips synced up nicely. It was a damn pain in the ass if you ask me. But, the finished product is great to look at.

Oh. My. God. You wouldn’t believe the trouble I had with the saving of this video. First I saved normally and there were huge blank, black spaces. And since I appreciate my viewers (suck-up, that’s me, lol) here I refused to let that happen. So then, I saved it in three separate parts and tried to stick them all together. Again - nil. So I had to go back and make countless versions of it to cut out the blank spots! Aaargh! Well, background. This is the part where I ramble! Yay! Rambling is fun! (so fun, I’ve started already…) Someone over on You Tube (I’m sorry if I’ve forgotten your name! Trust me, you were the kick-up that I needed to try this!) suggested to me to try and make a modern trailer, since I seemed to be a bit stuck in historical ones. So I looked around… and found She’s The Man. Initially, I liked the story plus the trailer was fun - I loved the amount of transitions in it and the effects. So it gave me a chance to explore WMM a bit and see what I could do. There are a few effects in this trailer and I really tried to explore with my transitions -no more fade for me, no siree!
