And now for something completely different. As much I've always enjoyed jazz, I never got around to learning any. Besides plowing through books and tutorials about jazz theory, tritone blues, boogie woogie basses, and the various scale degrees and their functions (dorian, phrygian, mixolydian, etc)... I just never got a taste. After re-watching The Legend of 1900 (an AMAZING MOVIE, btw), I sat down and played a bit.
