Precious the Cocker Spaniel loves to talk to Sharon, her caretaker at the boarding facility. In this video, Sharon is talking to her, and if you watch closely, you can see Precious moving her mouth as she softly responds to her and carries on a conversation with her. This video was taken today, February 29, 2008, before Precious left on a transport to Memphis, TN. She is on her way to her new foster home with Cocker Spaniel Rescue.

this is some classes that I found was very hopeful if you have a baby and you live near water you need to see this video....They teach toddlers from the ages of 6 months-6yrs of age....Its like $87.00 a week to send your children to this...very good classes if you have the money for it and your kid can't swim

These three adorable kittens were born on January 26, 2008. One of our foster Mom's saved their Momma from the pound when she was pregnant. Thanks to George for fixing the sound bytes!

This is the second part of several taken from our local NBC Newscenter 10 TV Station Floodwatch '94 footage on what they called the 500 year flood that occured here where I live in Albany, GA and the surronding areas in July 1994. This part has evacuations, people being rescued, bridge closings, fight to save hospital, Albany State College (now Albany State University) and Civic Center, all from July 7th and 8th. I didn't get flooded out but my older sister Lisa and her family lived by the Kinchafoonee Creek and were awoken and evacuated at around 3 AM. Very scary indeed! If you have time to watch, this series of videos contains very interesting footage (when I'm finished, there will be 8 or 9 videos at about 10 minutes a piece).

We have a waiting list of people wanting to adopt a rescued Guinea Pig. I told the local animal control that I wanted them to let me know the next time they had a Guinea Pig surrendered. On Friday, March 28, 2008 I got a phone call to come and get 24 Guinea Pigs that someone was at the pound surrendering. I told her I did not think I had enough cages. But, that I would look and see what I had before I went. They called back a few minutes later and said that someone took 5, so there was only 19 left. After setting up cages, we went and picked them up. This photo was taken when we were loaded up and ready to leave animal control. When we got home we counted them, and found we had 23 Guinea Pigs, as a litter had been born while in the pound. They will all be available for adoption soon.

We rescued this beautiful Chocolate and White Abyssinian Guinea Pig from Roicy Duhon Animal Control (Lafayette Animal Control), along with 22 other guinea pigs. She, and several other piggies, were already pregnant when we saved them from certain death. She gave birth to four babies on April 8, 2008. As you can see in this video, the babies want to stay as close to Mom as possible. They follow her everywhere. Once weaned, they will be available for adoption through the Acadiana Humane Society and Cat Ranch.
