Our newest Cat Ranch resident is a Hedgehog named Kain. She is nocturnal. I took this video around 1:00AM by flashlight. One of the cats jumps up and looks at the hedgehog while I am recording. You can also hear Gracie our Rat running in her wheel.

This is Ella, a beautiful Golden Leopard Spotted Bengal that we just took in on Friday, September 21, 2007. Ella is a bit shy. But, you can hear the other two making a lot of noise. This video was taken in our car after picking them up from the owner/breeder who was surrendering all three cats.

It is almost dinner time on my Cat Ranch. The ferals and outside unadoptable cats are awaiting their dinner.

Natalie is one of the cats we rescued from a hoarder situation in Baton Rouge, La. She was never happy inside and she had such an attitude inside that we deemed her unadoptable. Once she was released out on my Cat Ranch, Natalie was a new cat. Very happy, very sweet, and quite content.

Winry, our rescue ferret, stretching, yawning, scratching, and falling after she woke up from a nap.

In the early evening, we treat the outside Cat Ranch cats with a bit of canned food. Just look at all the happy tails waiting for their food!

Josie is one of three Golden Leopard Spotted Bengals that we took in from the owner/breeder who surrendered them to us for adoption. Josie and Isabelle are quite vocal. This video was taken in my car shortly after we picked them up on Friday, September 21, 2007.

Winry, our ferret foster, and Mandy our kitten foster, playing together in Winry's cage. Winry and Mandy are best buddies. Mandy gets along with and plays well with all of our cat and even non-cat fosters: guinea pigs, ferret, rabbits, rats, and non-yappy dogs.

Mandy, one of our foster kittens, is very friendly with just about any kind of animal. She loves rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and ferrets. She even loves dogs, as long as they are not tiny, yappy dogs. We are still working on the construction of our new hurricane safe cat shelter. Kero, one of our neutered feral cats, decided to climb on the new roof and check it out. Video taken January 7, 2007

Our hurricane proof cat shelter foundation is now dry! Next step is removing the wood frame. Then, once that is done we can put up the outside walls and roof!

Victor, one of our adoptable foster cats, loves to sit in the window and look outside. He spent a lot of time watching the rain today.
