When I was a piano major in college, there was no other pianist who inspired me more or could surpass the technical abilities of Oscar Peterson. He was so very highly respected and admired. After his passing on December 23, I thought it only fitting to pay tribute to him and the impact that he has had on the jazz scene. He will be missed but his music will live on forever.
