Molly the new engine doesn't like having the job of taking empty trucks to the coaling plant, and wants instead to pull full ones like the other engines. Thomas wants to find a way of helping her make her trucks look extra-special. But a gust of wind ruins the plan, and Molly runs away feeling embarrassed. Thomas finds her and helps her to the coaling plant where when she finds the engines need more empty trucks, she realises the importance of her job after all.

When getting covered in sticky toffee and leaves and branches, Thomas soon is in a costume and is nicknamed "Sticky Toffee Thomas".

Percy is Scared of Thomas's Spooky tale of Jack frost and James thinks it's Nonsense. But when Percy has delivered the Last Coal trucks to the Stations, He was stayed in the siding all alone and it's Started to Snow. Percy is Cold and was Covered in Icikles, even one hung his Nose and When James past him, He thinks it is Really Jack frost after all! Before going to sleep, Thomas tells the story about Duke, Stuart and Falcon working on their railway, until the line was shut down.

Emily arrives on the island and takes Annie and Clarabel from Thomas, which makes the engines very angry. But after saving Oliver from a close encounter with Thomas, Sir Topham Hatt gives Emily her own coaches.

Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure

When returning from being mended, Toby is happy to be with his only friend: Percy! Toby has to be the pilot engine until Edward returns. Toby is anxious about his task, but he has a splendid time........ until he has to help a broken down James.

Percy warns everyone about a wobbly track on Toby's line, but nobody listens until Thomas gets into trouble.

Percy works so hard, he becomes late. Later, he overhears Sir Topham Hatt saying he has to go to the scrapyards. He is scared because he is going to be scrapped, so he runs away. But when Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt find him, he knew he was pulling the mail all week and learns a very useful lesson.

Thomas is chosen to take Sir Topham Hatt's car to the Sodor show. However, when Gordon challenges him to a race, the coupling snaps and the flatbed carrying the car becomes a runaway---making Arthur ram into buffers and get covered in fish, and cover Rosie in mud, and finally the car lands into a haystack. Thomas and Gordon work together to get the car out of the haystack and get it to the Sodor show on time.

When Percy has broken down, Edward is asked to deliver the mail for him. Unfortunately, Edward doesn't know how, so he delivers the wrong parcels to the wrong places!
