I was suprised at the big turnout. There must have been 100 riders. It's one of the bigger rides that I've been on. It's well organized and coordinated. I have to hand it to these guys. They planned the event well.

Here's video footage I took of a nice sunset on a recent trip to Hawaii. The song is "The Water is Wide" by the amazingly talented Eva Cassidy . . . I guess I might be like most people, but whenever I sit and watch a sunset, I think about the day just ending . . . realize that this day is now gone from my life forever . . . I reflect upon where things are at in my life . . . and I say "Goodbye" to that day, and look forward to the next :)

This is the first time I'm riding with these guys. There are the speed demons, the people that do twisties & turns, the cruisers, and then there are the stunters. These stunters are definitely a different crowd

This morning, we make a unscheduled stop to the Punchbowl National Cemetary of the Pacific. It's a national cemetary that's reserved for the war dead and highly decorated US veterans.

I was just playin’ around with my iMovie special effects, so here’s the result . . . the original video is some camcorder footage I took from my hotel balcony in Waikiki, Hawaii of a fireworks display one night. The song is “Revolution” by the Beatles, which brings back vivid memories of me havin’ to worry about bein’ drafted to fight in VietNam. The year I COULD have been drafted, my particular draft number came within five numbers of the final draft number called up for military duty that year.

Yes, here is a brief look at my crash or the "so called" crash I had on the Cruise on Sat. Yeah, just keep an eye out for that metal container on the right.. Let me know what ya'll think. Remember to WEAR YOUR GEAR!!

I really struggled with buying this bike. It was a great deal, but when I test rode it, it felt weak and powerless. I guess that what happens when I get used to riding a liter bike. It's not the same anymore. It had a mere 2200 miles on it!!! A 2004 model, for only $5000. What a deal! I agonized over it when I passed it up. *sigh*

If you don't wanna hear complaints, don't watch this video. Hawaii has its share of issues, including traffic.

They've invited me out for the month of July so I really hope to meet up with 88Hawaii while I'm there and that it won't be as hard to do as it was for him to meet Mordeth13. Love your vids 88, they were inspiration for these and I hope to be able to say hi while I'm out there. It'll be a far trip for me coming from NJ, so I'm really excited to see sunny HI.
