El Sau -- Sau es una danza de pareja suelta e independiente, que realiza sus evoluciones casi rozándose. Cuando intervienen varias parejas éstas no se mezclan. Manteniendo cada una su independencia respecto de demás.

A little bit more MATATO'A
Sorry about missing the beginning and the poor sound quality but I just couldn't leave this on my hard drive doing nothing.
I don't care what your taste in music is, if you cant see the beauty in this you don't have a soul.

2nd Easter Island Vlog "the sunset vlog"
Very few visitors come to Rapa Nui but most of those who do make it this far are drawn to this synergy of man made mystery and natural spectacle.

MATATO'A - Here Ma'Ohi
If you thought Rapa Nui was all about a dead civilization you would be wrong.
One Example of how the culture that crossed the pacific in a canoe then survived famine, slavery and disease is still alive and well Is the group of musicians, dancers and songwriters collectively known as Matato'a.
Its possible you have heard of Matato'a their fame extends way beyond the tiny pacific Island which gave birth to them.
Matato'a incorporate traditional Rapa Nui musical structures into new compositions, The result is something that continues the spirit of exploration which bought their ancestors to the Island this time in music and dance.
To the people of Rapa Nui ancestors are very important! I think if there ancestors are watching they will be very proud of the well structured, caring and artistic society this generation of Islanders have created from almost nothing, You have to ask yourself if the same could be said of your own country?
I was lucky enough to see Matato'a perform a show in there home town while I was on Easter Island, They performed brilliantly, the audio on my camera however did not so this is dubbed with the album version of the song one of there biggest hits “Here Ma'Ohi”
Enjoy! ;0)

CoZzMiX Travels Easter Island
I new at some stage I would have to make the CoZzMiX Travels Easter Island video and I new that capturing the essence of Easter Island would not be easy.
After the first week I realized that all the TV documentaries I had watched before coming here had not come close to showing the fusion of landscapes and culture.
After 3 days of editing and re editing my footage, experimenting with various soundtracks and text comments I still didn't like what I saw when I hit preview. Something was still missing.
So with my head in my hands I wandered up to the cliffs to watch the sun set behind the Moai as I did every evening in Rapa Nui (the name the local residents call the Island they love). As I sat there with the sun slowly burning dots onto my retina I heard the Moai whisper to me, “Make it fun” they said. They where of course much older and wiser than me and what they had said was true, what I and all those documentary crews before me had missed was the fact that Rapa Nui is a fun place with lots of opportunity's to see and experience things that you never expected.
When the sun had finally disappeared over the blue, orange and red horizon I came back, deleted my project file and started again.
What you see here took about 1 hour to put together, its not technically perfect and it doesn't show everything there is to see (I figure if you ever come here you will want to discover some things for yourself) but I enjoyed making it and I like the finished result, I hope you like it too...

CoZzMiX Travels - Hanga Roa
I know everyone probably wants to see Moai, but when I was coming to Easter Island (Rapa Nui) I was surprised at how little information was available about Hanga Roa the islands tiny capital, so I decided to devote a CoZzMiX Travels video to this the only town on the Island.
It may be very small and isolated but Hanga Roa is a friendly civilized place with a very low crime rate, the sort of place where you can let your kids go out to play without worrying weather or not they will come back.
While everything has to be flown in from Santiago and the verity of goods available in the shops is limited there is everything you need, plus a few luxury items.
Don't come here if you are looking for 5star luxury- there are no hotels above 3star, however there are some wonderful bed and breakfast type establishments which are usually family run.
Its not a party place but there are a few places where you can dance the night away to a mix of local music and international favorites – they are frequented mainly by locals of all ages but visitors are always made to feel very welcome.
Although the main industry is tourism only a handful of people make it to this remote Island and the place never feels anything like crowded.
If you ever come to Easter Island this is where your accommodation will be, there is no where else.
So lets take a tour of Hanga Roa...

1st Easter Island Vlog
Easter Island takes a bit of tuning in to, after a week I made the slightly spaced Vlog in which I describe the feeling of Isolation of the place and the mystery of the Moai. Iv since found there is more to Easter Island (Rapa Nui) than can be seen by an outsider at first glance...

CoZzMiX Arives In Easter Island
Did you ever want to go somewhere but never quiet get there? Thats been the story of me and Easter Island ( Rapa Nui ) for the best part of 30 years – First I was too young to go by myself and no one would take me, then I was old enough to go but didn't have enough money, then there was enough money but too many responsibilities and not enough time.
There have been time's during this trip when thing's have not been going so well that I have seriously considered throwing in the towel and going home, at those points the one thing that has kept me focused has been the idea that one day soon I would be in Rapa Nui.
For me Rapa Nui has always been my destination on this trip, My reason for leaving home and the place I was traveling to, So this is the one arrival I just had to capture on video...
