YOU decide if the bible is inspired by God.
Just think of the real women that had to undergo this test....
Women have been subjugated in so many ways by paternal societies and their MALE gods.
Who knows the measure of suffering endured by innocent women and girls at the hands of religious fanatics?
Regarding superstion and miracles, Ethan Allen said:

Crime & Punishment: A Lesson in Christian Morality
I'm NOT Nick Gisburne.
There is only one sin: not believing in God. Anything else will be forgiven. If you don't believe, but live a good life, Christianity teaches that you are wasting your time. No amount of good works will save you from punishment. So what kind of a justice system is that anyway? And where does morality come into it?

Two Lives, Two loves
God is not the product of our imagination or reason, but "He Who Is" and without whom nothing exists. Though it is theoretically possible to live a natural morality, it is insufficient to fill the emptiness of our hearts. Answer to Rabidape's challenge of Christian thinking

Words by Nick Gisburne part2
Part 2 of 2
I wanted to download Nick Gisburnes new video, but since someone already has I thought I'd try something different. To see words on paper, coupled with music,to me,is very powerful.Hope Nick doesn't mind.
His new video is called Christians: Hateful, Homophobic, Hypocritical.
Here's somemore of his 'words'
How any Christian can believe that senseless condemnation of the lifestyle choices of gay people can somehow be 'softened' by empty, meaningless 'compassion' for the person himself is nonsense. Separating homosexual acts from homosexual people, by professing to hate the sin but not the sinner, is BULLSHIT. It is hypocrisy of the very worst kind.
If you don't respect what the person is or does, you do not respect the person. If you hate what gay people do in the privacy of their own homes, you are a bigot and a homophobe. And if Christianity hates homosexuality, I should have no reservation in saying that I return the sentiment: I hate Christianity.
In the true spirit of Biblical teaching, we should all hate Christianity... but not the Christians. Have no respect AT ALL for their opinions, which condemn homosexuals AND homosexuality with their weasel words. Even if it IS a choice, who are Christians to say that it is wrong?

2 Questions For Atheists (reply)
TogetherForPeace asks two question for atheists:
1. What defines your moral code?
2. How are your beliefs less prone to creating misery and conflict than Christian beliefs?
This is my response, with Penn Jillette being remixed to help me out!

The following comments are his...
"t needed to be said, and it needs to be repeated. Religious fundamentalists are dangerous and delusional, and when they quote their good books, they need to be challenged, and sometimes they need to be ridiculed. Those of you who claim your religion is one of love and not like those hateful, demented, believers need to join in the condemnation. You need to acknowledge that they, your fellow Christians are not to be respected for their beliefs, for if you say respect such beliefs, if you remain silent, you too are dangerous and delusional." - I couln't agree more.
