Got Happy? It is an amazing thing to be happy. But how do you know if your happiness is true? True happiness , as with love, is realized once you can let go of the thing that is the source of your hapiness. If the object of your happiness returns to you, you can experience true joy in knowing that it was meant for you to have this thing that brought about happiness. For two days...I was without my music as my equipment (which is used to process ) was acting up. I was out of my regular sort (didn't know how to act). In that short time...after praying for a miracle (to put it lightly), I began to migrate towards other activities (which was not easy at all). But when I chose to let the music go free for that time...it miraculously came back to me (in the way of my equipment being healed....THANK GOD!!! ;) Hey...I just know that my stuff was working after almost being brought to tears about not having it to produce music. I then realized how "happy" I was to be back in the flow, back in my element, back to doing the thing that brings me passion ~ doing my music. This song is actually what came to my mind during this time. It was intended to be a "happy" song, but for you, let it bring you to happy times in your life (both in times past, as well as the happy times to come). Let this song serve as a reminder that being happy is a choice...a choice that needs to be chosen regardless of if you are dealing with things either within, or beyond your control. Being happy is within your control; choose it freely and wait for it to freely come back to you. It can become the strength you never knew you had....this is another show! We shall talk later! Take care and enjoy my friends. Mel :)

"Brush With An Angel" an original song (performamnce version)
Featuring the dance stylings of Michal (Michele). Thanks so much Michal for your interpretive dance...you were wonderful my dahlin...=) As stated in the title, this is simply the performance version of one of my all~time favorite originals, which was dedicated to the memory of my little friend Bobby (See first video). My only peeve; I was so excited to post this one up...I failed to see that I didn't stop the film at the end (now it runs on another blank minute and 1/2....SHEESH)! I can't stand that that's happened. God bless all of you for watching once again....and may He give you all 1:32 seconds of your lives back! ;)

"Dream..." an original song featuring the dance stylings of Tracy Boyd
Visit Tracy at:

Dream...
Dream what you want to dream;
Go where you want to go;
Be what you want to be,
Because you have only one life
And one chance to do all the things
You want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
Enough trials to make you strong,
Enough sorrow to keep you human and
Enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily
Have the best of everything;
They just make the most of
Everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always
Be based on a forgotten past;
You can't go forward in life until
You let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying
And everyone around you was smiling
Live your life so at the end
You're the one who is smiling and everyone
Around you is crying.

I won't allow ANYONE to seperate me, my life, my sense of my world from that which I dream about. For some people, dreams are all they have to hold on to. For others, if you take dreams out of their life, they will have no life. I can talk on this all day...but bottom line; you have every right to dream. Dream for a better tommorrow, a better understanding of what you do not yet understand and a better you. I thank God for letting me fly as high as I want to fly....I am thankful to "DREAM!"

"Tracy's Hope" an original / recycled song featuring Tracy Boyd
Tracy is one of my best friends ever. She has been a part of my family and has been there for everything including: wedding (to Lynn), baby dedication (Missy), both my Mom's and my sister's home going (going home). After almost two decades of her being a sister~like one to me...I had just found out that she has studied dance in her doings. This video is the result of me recycling one of my old originals and fusing it with Tracy's dance interpretation. It is entitled, "Tracy's Hope because Tracy is such an invisionary; she is doing so much in the way of working with young people. Needless to say, Tracy will be working with me in future productions (particularly on my original producions while Missy will be assinged to any and all cover tunes). It is wonderful to work with a great friend and adopted sister such as Tracy.
This is a statement from her website followed by a snipet of her bio. The information to her site is contained in the side bar as well.

"To Have Brushed With An Angel" an original song for Bobby
Here is how Bobby passed...in the words of his mother (from a memorial website):
"Bobby had left school that afternoon and rather than take the bus, he rode with a friend. They stopped at Bobby's house so he could drop off his books, then got back into the car to go just another mile down the road to another friend's house. They never made it. They were on a slushy dirt road, with the driver going way too fast for conditions. The car did not make it through the curve and hit a tree. Bobby died instantly (thank God), the driver sustained numerous broken bones, and another boy walked away unharmed. I will add here that Bobby did NOT put his seat belt back on for this "short" ride.I was working with my husband at our little restaurant when Sarah called, she couldn't even talk, her boyfriend actually explained what had happened. I couldn't even think....I remember putting the phone down and telling Tim "There's been an accident, I don't think Bobby made it...." as I was running out the door and telling Tim that I'd call him as soon as I knew what had happened. I picked Sarah and her boyfriend up at our house and then drove out to Bobby's dad's house, as he lived with his father, about 20 miles away.
The house was already filled with neighbors and friends and the associate pastor from Bobby's church. Then Bob (Bobby's dad, my ex), his brother and myself made the awful trip to the hospital. I wasn't sure I could go on, but a VERY special nurse told me that I really should see Bobby, and for that advice I am very grateful.
On the way home, in town, I'll never forget the snowball that hit our car. I remember laughing (I know....how could I be LAUGHING), but all I could think of was that was Bobby's final message to us....."I'm OKAY, mom!!!"
I knew that on the day of the funeral Bob and I would have a bit to discuss, so I asked my hubby to drive himself and his brother, I'd drive myself. I remember crying the entire way, demanding God to answer me. I also thought of just not showing up...certainly everyone could understand my grief. Finally, in the parking lot I just prayed for God to get me through this one day.
The church was FILLED, and afterward I noticed that the school had delivered THREE busloads of Bobby's friends and classmates. It was during the luncheon afterward when I really felt God's hand already beginning to work my soul. A lady came up to me and said "You must be REALLY angry with the driver of that car." It was then that I realized even from the day Bobby died, I wasn't angry with ANYONE. Even now, I realize that is was simply an accident. My sister who is a lieutenant with the city's police department had been my liason with the state police and the county sheriff. She told me that the state, after investigating, DID have enough evidence to prove fault and wreckless driving (no kidding), and did I want to file charges. I said absolutely NOT. All I had to do was think back to my teenage driving experiences and I realized that this driver was simply inexperienced and had no intention of hurting, much less killing, anyone.
It it with God's grace and the wonderful people I've met here, that I've been able to continue the way that I have. Bobby has started a new life....and so have I."
Here is my story; I had met Nancy and have known her for sometime right here on the internet. One day, I was chatting with Nancy as the subject of passed relatives came up. My heart always goes out to those who loose their children. So it was no surprise that I asked Nancy to share a picture of her beloved son upon learning of him. When I took one look at his picture...my mouth dropped. I couldn't believe how incredibly fun and full of life he was. He appeared to be just as any other little kid that you see everyday...passing a shopping center on his skateboard along with his buddies. As I saw more pictures of Bobby, this song came into my spirit; it was as if God had sent an angel...but in song. While working on this

"Time After Time " (cover)
We had a lot of fun making this one. But sheesh! All the gas it took to get to all these different shooting locations....but you guys are worth it! We knew we would be seeing you guys again. Bottom line...anything for a friend, i.e., a prayer, a hug, money (not too much though...Lol), or just some love and support, we find ourselfscoming over there and meeting the need"Time After Time." Hey...we have been blessed greatly...so to much is given, much is required. We know that to be true and are use to it. :)
"Time after Time" was a single by singer Cyndi Lauper, the second from her She's So Unusual album, and it reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts on June 9, 1984. The song was at #1 for two weeks and to date is her second highest charting and most commercially successful single worldwide after "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," also reaching #3 on the UK Singles Chart and #6 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Not Just Another Inspired Song (original)
You guys already know that I consider it a gift to express myself in this way...and to have a connection with you guys in return. You have heard me go on about this whole means of communication being a creative outlet, one which hasn't been this inspiring in years for me. You know I look for the higher meaning in every feeling I become inspired to express. In one way, or another, I have communicated these thoughts to you. You know I am eternally thankful and grateful to you guys. However, there is one area I didn't see coming. I wasn't prepared in anyway for this unexpected blessing (you know that some of the best things in life are the unexpected. For the thing I am attempting to explain to you...I can never repay you for (Sheesh! I am almost getting misty in the eyes just thinking about this). I am soooo moved by how you people have embraced my daughter's efforts to participate in this thing I am referring to as my "creative expression." I just accidentally ran her across my camera...and hence, this computer screen only to have you, my circle of friends, embrace her with love and support. Trust me...she hears and receives every one of your constructive, or complementary comments. It was these comments that pulled her towards buying in on the her road to creative expressiveness. Not only that...some of you have adopted Missy as part of the community and have helped protected her from any negative, or otherwise harmful people / factors that go hand in hand with the web. As a result, Missy looks forward to choreographing her own moves for her daddy's songs. I can't tell you how full my heart is to know that. I can't tell you of the joy I have from seeing her excitement to dance and perform (for Live Video). I can see that this expressive time she and I share will fast become a tradition / legacy of ours. This quality time we have in our productions would not exsist if you guys weren't there for us to upload it for. It's late right now...and I can't seem to say everything that needs to be said right now, but just know; you guys are just a bunch of great people; people that I choose to surround my family and me with. You are our family as well. This song is our way of saying thanks! Please know that we thank all of you and love you very much!

favorite Songs Vol. #4 "Blue Eyes" Sir Elton John (cover)
"Blue Eyes" Music by Sir Elton John Lyrics by Gary Osborne. Love this song. It takes me back to fond teenage memories...back in a time when things were less complicated and more innocent. Ahh...to be young and in love. Do you remember times like that? It would make anyone's eyes blue to compare the things of today with the way things use to be. I miss those good old days. I had less bills and responsibilities as well. Lol. Hence...the title! :) Enjoy my friends. MM

Dedication to my Subscribers and Friends!!!! (I luv you guys soooo much!!!!)
"Killing Me Softly" Roberta Flack. I have always loved this song....every since I went to the South as a little kid for the summer. While in the summer school...I learned the hard way that the South is unlike the North. The teacher pulled out a wooden paddle an proceeded to tear my rear end up ( it should be noted that I have always been...and continue to be a generally nice guy. Whatever grounds there were that made the teacher see to it that I have total pain on my tush was to say the least...a slight misunderstanding. As I continued to count the number of "swats" being delivered, "Killing Me Softly" was being played on the little classroom radio. Needless to say, the song strikes a unique chord with me...and has ever since. Lol. Much love to yu all....and enjoy!

The Lesson (an original song~true story)
Life's teaching moments! If you know me....I'm always looking for "the lesson" in everything that happens, doesn't happen, or may happen. I'm a stickler for a lesson! Lol. This marks the last video made during the wonderful three weeks I was off on vacation....Sheesh! I too have a life and have to go back to work. What...you thought I only have this to do while the wifey pays the bills? I was just joking (in that other video).
Now that my regular schedule is in progress, you will be lucky to get a video once every two weeks...and that's if i'm not busy!!! But production work has always been my passion. NOW that I'm only working with original music (my music) these productions are even more dear to my heart! And with a handful of my regulars (subscribers), it's like having a regular gig at the college pub...doesn't get any better than that ey! Thanks to this medium (LV) I have a a place to send my "stuff" that has been built up within me my whole life long. I hope you enjoy this one...as it was special; it was all about Missy as she accepted the differences between two extremes (the ducks having, yet this young woman having not). Enjoy this one my friends!

"It Was We" (an original song)
On this day...I took a walk down through the downtown area of my old neighborhood. It was the annual Martin Luther King march, which had a great turn out. There were different people walking for different reasons; some political (presidential electional / promotional), others were there to promote their causes. One thing is for sure, there were no differences between all of those walking....and even those looking on. It was no longer them, they, or us. On that day, "It Was We." Set to original music courtesy of the Mello Mel Music Group.
