I met Oliver Groenewald in Hamburg when he was playing trumpet on the pit band for HAIR. The cats used to come over after-hours and sit in with us at my gig in Skurillum (now Schmidt's Theatre) at Spielbuden Platz 24 on Reeperbahn. Sometime after HAIR gig was over (and they took my drummer Uwe Petersen with them), Oliver invited me to guest with his fine ensemble "OLIVER GROENEWALD NEWNET" on some great arrangements he wrote of my tunes in KAISERKELLER DETMOLD where they played every week for a long time.
