This video is based on the El tango De Roxanne. Esmeralda is a prostitute who is being abused by her "master" Frollo. Quasimodo falls in love with her and tries to help her escape her fate. Only to be crushed when she won't stop. Jealous Frollo has her arrested and when he offers her freedom as his woman she denies and spits on him severing her ties as a prostitute. Quasimodo sees this and goes to save the woman he loves.

This was a natural video, but it didn't mean it was easy. And yes, the song's name IS Quasimodo. I love Lifehouse and this is one of their best songs. I've been meaning to make this video for actually a couple of years (since I heard the song). The video is about Quasimodo's relationships between Frollo and Esmeralda. One of fear, hate, and self-hate and the other of compassion, kindness, and love.

Commercials include a Nickelodeon image promo, The Hunchback of Notre Dame on VHS, Big Brother Ken & Baby Brother Tommy, a promo for Figure It Out, That Darn Cat in theaters, and Post Waffle Crisp. Well, this was an increasingly disturbing video I came up with. Frollo and Esmerelda pairing and its a disturbing one indeed. I guess you can view it one of two ways: 1.) Frollo's POV. What he THINKS Esmerelda wants....him. And wants him to "save" her from being an "evil gypsy" 2.) Esmerelda does want him, regardless of the abuse. Which sadely happens too much in real life. But mostly, this video is dark, disturbing, and flat out creepy. I'm gonna have nightmares now. And it started out so pretty in the first scene, lol Esmerelda and Frollo pairing in one of my music videos....I just feel so dirty.

I love this song, it's beautiful even if I can't understand the itallian words but I get the gist. I made this amv with the song There for Me by Josh Gorban and Sarah Brightman with some of my favorite animated couples.

I kind of gave it a Final Fantasy VIII feel with the slow fading into scenes. lol. Alright story basically Aerith's looking at a scrap book and she starts to remember. First half is before he dies. Secomd half is afte. Which is the reason for the serious lackage of clips of them together.(That and they're just limited. lol.) God it's been so long since I've uploaded anything decent. I didn't include EVERY Disney Princess in this video. What I did was include the ones with, in my opinion...the most 'Love Issues' so to speak. They aren't the conventional 'Love at First Site' Bunch...so therefore I thought this song fit VERY well.
