The autumn fires combined with smog coming over from the big city didn't make for the clearest of days, but the weather was perfect for a nice ride. Starting near Mt. Gwanak, then to Mt. Baekun, and finishing in Anyang Art Park it was a nice solo ride through the changing colors.

After no riding for a few weeks, it was great to get out. I had to buy a new rear tire...that sucked...but I cried and got over it.

After a second puncture in the past two weeks, a nail on both occasions picked up somewhere, probably because I like to filter along the drain or gutter of the road, space and an obvious escape if things go wrong, I replaced my tyres. The downside is that I risk picking whatever crap is swept to the side of the road. I went with a simple replacement of the existing tyre, a 180/55 18" Dunlop Sportsmax tyre. Why? It was the only 18" in stock anywhere in Dublin for a reasonable price. I go to work on this bike. I rarely if ever drive. A lot of Vrod riders don't like the tyre, but it has given me no cause for complaint. I kept a slow pace. I wanted to scrub in the tyres gently, and the past two weeks of worrying about slow punctures had messed my mind too much. I simply rode along the N81 out of Dublin as far as Blessington, and obviously back. I think this bit of footage starts in Crooksling or somewhere like that. Don't know really.

This bridge is located about 10 miles southwest of Blakely, GA. This is the southernmost covered bridge in the United States, we had a great ride up there and... saw many interesting things along the way. We also happened upon a very serious motorcycle wreck, perhaps fatal for the biker.
