Yes, it's here. The sequel to "It Sucks to Be Fire Nation," which whatever the stats might read, I still consider to be my most popular video. Most of my others have merely surfed on the waves it created....and you know, besides one or two glitches, it might easily be one of the best. This one, though, I have actually revised and touched up, so hopefully it will be glitch-free...well, not quite glitch-free, but there's a reason. I aimed for the older style--the same techniques I was using when I made the original. That's why there aren't many effects used throughout, and there's a huge amount of lip-synching and not many other bits. It was very gut-instinct, with the only real revisions being to fix extra frames and ensuring that the same clip was not used twice. Zhao was the one who convinced me to do this. We had some arguments over casting contradictions, but he said that he liked the Gary Coleman role....ham that he is.... So, I managed to pull the cast together (Azula has actually been rather sulky since that whole "Wind Beneath My Wings" thing, and is pressing management for an actual evil tribute thing...I pulled a few favors, though, with my brother, so she agreed) and they reunited for another epic piece. Xin Fu and Yu were left out. Zuko and Mai also had their first actual interaction on a shipping level. Kind of. They were a touch uncomfy, but I think they pulled it off. And if you nag me about my descriptions being too long, go jump in the river. :-P Clips are owned by Viacom and Nickelodeon. Music is from Avenue Q. The vid is mine. One might notice, as well, that it focuses very little on the actual racism issue, and mainly on the lip-synching. The Fire Nation says leave that little detail to the other vids--it's all about them. ;) Oh, and on lip-synching, I might add that again, many clips eerily fit their lyrics. Azula's whole "Well, it's a touchy subject....look the same to you?" thing is one clip, no editing.

This video was actually pretty fun to make! ^^ I must admit, it was a pain getting the DVD (waiting six days as Netflix said "At Home") was a bit of a pain, but once I got into the video it was actually kinda fun! What wasn't fun was when I ran out of scenes and I had to improvise near the end. D= Sara likes her sync. She doesn't like to make people pretend the images match the lyrics. x33 But with a movie with a length a little over and hour and a half, what can you do? Ripping and encoding videos is nice, editing and trying to make everything fit isn't always. All in all it was a fresh experience that I enjoyed. I wanted to make this mainly about Copper and Todd and how their friendship dissolves but a mutual trust is gained at the end. Halfway through I decided to do it in general because they aren't the only characters in the story with problems involving acceptance of other people. I'll stop talking now. I was chillin out in my room, just listening to this song. I heard the line "and then we lie underneath the stars" and I thought of Team 7 (not including Sai, and barely any Kakashi) I decided to start it, but I'm not far AT ALL.
