UPDATE: CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL PIERCE WAS MURDERED
It is with great sadness that I need to report on behalf of Christopher Michael Pierce's family that they found his 1988 Jeep
pickup truck around 12:45 p.m. December 6, 2007 in the Red River in Bossier City, La.
A Bossier City man already in custody for the slaying of his wife and unborn child now has been charged with another murder, the Bossier Parish sheriff's office said on January 16, 2008.
Robert Ernest Cole, 32, has been charged with the killing of Christopher Michael Pierce of Shreveport, whose Jeep Comanche was pulled from the Red River in early December.
Investigators said Terresa feared her husband because of her knowledge of the earlier crime and that she was murdered to silence her.
Funeral services for Christopher "Michael" Pierce was held February 23, 2008.

SNOW LEOPARD ENDANGERED SPECIES
Greatly Endangered
This species is in a very sharp decline and is being systematically killed or removed from its natural habitat. Its future looks bleak unless sanctuaries can be created to safeguard this extraordinary creature of immense solitude and peace.. .the "Gray Ghost" cat. In words of biologist George B. Schaller, "Suddenly I saw the snow leopard. Wisps of cloud moved between us, and she became a ghost creature, appearing and disappearing as if in a dream."
Snow leopards do not roar, they are considered nocturnal, but they are active in the early morning and late afternoon. The longest a Snow leopard has live in captivity is 15 years. The reason they are endangered is poaching for the fur, loss of habitat caused by deforestation and dam projects, and loss of food sources. How people are trying to help them is habitat protection, captive breeding, stiff penalties for poachers and international buyers or illegal furs, and public education.

Glupod: Online Game Lets Players Save Real Lives
If you could help end world hunger, save endangered species or reverse global warming by having fun playing a game online, would you do it? Beginning this summer, you can.
A small group of socially conscious people from three continents have developed an online game designed to help the environment and fight poverty in the real world by turning game rewards into real-life help for social and environmental causes.
The game, called Glupod, will debut worldwide on May 30. It's the brainchild of Ioannis Tsiokos of Athens and a small band of colleagues at Something, Inc. who collaborate online from Greece, India, the United States and the United Kingdom.

ENDANGERED SPECIES GIANT PANDA PART 5
Pandas are solitary animals. They spend two-thirds of their day feeding and the remainder of the day resting. Extremely agile climbers, they usually climb only when they are in danger from predators such as brown bears, leopards, and wild dogs. They take refuge in the nearest tree until danger has passed. Pandas have no particular resting place; they simply lie down on the ground wherever they happen to be. Pandas live in cold, damp conditions. They have exceptionally dense waterproof coats that give protection against these conditions.
At one time, the greatest threat to the giant panda's survival was man, who hunted it for its pelt. Today the principal cause of its decline is the erosion of its habitat due to crop cultivation or from natural causes such as die-back of bamboo. As its natural habitat becomes increasingly surrounded by human settlement, the panda can no longer migrate to unaffected areas. The Chinese people now support any measures necessary for the panda's protection. As a result, those caught hunting the animal face severe penalties. Special sanctuaries have been established in the panda's natural habitat with enough space for 500 to 600 animals. Scientists are studying the animal's habits and instituting a comprehensive conservation program. Zoos are also collaborating in the development of a captive breeding project.Related Species
The name panda is taken from the animal now known as the cat-bear. The cat-bear is also known as the lesser or red panda.

Distinguished field biologist George B. Schaller receives 2008 Indianapolis Prize
Relentless in his pursuit to save endangered species across the globe since 1952, the world’s pre-eminent field biologist, George B. Schaller, Ph.D., has been named the 2008 recipient of the Indianapolis Prize, the world’s leading award for animal conservation. In recognition for his lifetime achievements, Dr. Schaller will receive $100,000 and the Lilly Medal at a gala ceremony presented by the AES Corporation and hosted by award-winning actress and environmentalist Jane Alexander on Sept. 27, 2008, in Indianapolis.
As Senior Conservationist for the Wildlife Conservation Society, Dr. Schaller’s successes are numerous, including his recent work with the endangered Tibetan antelope or chiru – at times slaughtered for its exquisite wool used to make shahtoosh shawls. He trekked a thousand miles across Tibet’s rugged Chang Tang Reserve to study the chiru, wild yak and other wildlife and make recommendations to the Chinese government. Schaller now strives to save Marco Polo sheep, snow leopards and other wildlife and assist the nomadic local people in achieving a measure of harmony between rangelands, livestock and wildlife. He is also working to create an international peace park in the four corners of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and Tajikistan.

MISSING
This is a video profiling 11 missing, endangered women in the U.S.A.Their families need to keep their names and details of their disappearance in the public eye.The video also shows a police composite sketch of 2 suspects wanted in the Dori Ann Myers abduction. Please take a look at these"pigs"of humanity. They are vicious and dangerous.Their criminal activity on that night did not start and stop with Dori Ann Myers. They have been doing this and similar crimes as individuals or as a pair. They are known to law enforcement somewhere. That is my personal opinion and I don't think it's far from the truth. They deserve a place on Florida's death row.As background music I used an original song I wrote in 1993 entitled "Till They All Come Home".The song was first sequenced by Roger Hodgson from "Supertramp" as he thought it was a positive song of hope for the missing and their families.
