It is almost dinner time on my Cat Ranch. The ferals and outside unadoptable cats are awaiting their dinner.

In the early evening, we treat the outside Cat Ranch cats with a bit of canned food. Just look at all the happy tails waiting for their food!

Stray cats are everywhere and their numbers can grow very quickly if left to breed. Lethal methods of controlling their population are outdated and inhumane. T-N-R (trap-neuter-return) is the most effective and humane method that works! The stray cat population in the U.S. is estimated to be approx. 70 to 100 million. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives. But when neutered, returned to where they were trapped and fed on a daily basis, they can live very happy, healthy lives. It would be ideal to adopt out every stray cat, but unfortunately, statistics tell us that there are just not enough homes available to adopt all the existing stray cats. And, the animal shelters are overcrowded and underfunded, so their answer is to euthanize. Please don't breed and buy while homeless ones die. Some more tags: Bred, purebred, purebreed, breeder. This is Ella, a beautiful Golden Leopard Spotted Bengal that we just took in on Friday, September 21, 2007. Ella is a bit shy. But, you can hear the other two making a lot of noise. This video was taken in our car after picking them up from the owner/breeder who was surrendering all three cats.

Natalie is one of the cats we rescued from a hoarder situation in Baton Rouge, La. She was never happy inside and she had such an attitude inside that we deemed her unadoptable. Once she was released out on my Cat Ranch, Natalie was a new cat. Very happy, very sweet, and quite content.
