Just catching y'all up on some fun stuff coming up this weekend and showing more impromptu caricatures of your LiveVideo pals from the Greg Lions LiveShow chatroom.

Just me showing off some caricature doodles of people in the LiveShow chat room with Greg Lions. You'll hafta get Greg to show you his sketches. I had a blast that night. Just sketching fast and raw.

Here is Episode Three, in case you're counting. This time I'll be using Layers and Shape tools to create a caricature of a popular LiveVideo vlogger whom I enjoy. You'll probably figure out who it is when I paint in their background. It's a little more complex than the sketches I've done in the previous sessions, because layers are involved, BUT SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT AFRAID. Layers are your bestest friends! Reather than "Draw" the picture this time, I mostly use the shape tools to create geometric masses of color, whic I then modify with the Smudge tool, and model with the Burn tool. So while this is going to be a whirlwind of activity, I'm still doing very simple stuff using a minimum of features. Even I have a little trouble following along with the sped-up action, so just sit back and enjoythe process of creeation. Repeated viewings will give you the chances to pick up more procedural details if you're interested in persuing this yourself. Happy Photoshopping!
